Body of fire

dir. Raul Menjivar

Starting production this September, Body of Fire is a new thriller directed by independent filmmaker Raul Menjivar. I will be playing the role of “Sofia.” The film is about “arsonist friends coming to terms with their crimes.” Thankful to be working with fellow independent creatives and getting back into film.

Annie Brown's 5th grade science presentation

dir. Abby Davis

After making my Off-Broadway debut back in May, Annie Brown’s 5th Grade Science Presentation has been chosen as a finalist as part of Soho’s Playhouse’s Lighthouse series. Written by Matt Morse and directed by Abby Davis, play explores class and oppression through the eyes of a 5th grader. Come join a great team of artists put on this comedy? Drama? Who knows? I guess you’ll have to come on out and find out for yourself! We return to SohoPlayhouse for three performances: July 14th, 15th, and 16th. I hope to see you there!

Tinman

dir. Hudson Price

This past fall I collaborated with filmmakers from New York University and was cast as “Miranda” in Tinman. An experimental piece on escapism, it definitely is easier to watch than explain. The process was incredible and a privilege to be a part of. Props to the crew/cast who made this such a fun project! Follow along on our journey here.

I joined the Greenhouse Ensemble in their 7th annual 10-Minute Play Soiree. I was cast as the role of “Marisol” in Simone Stadler’s The Translator. The soirée sought to highlight women playwrights as part of their Women’s History Artist Month Festival. I was particularly excited to play a Latina woman with a fellow Latino cast mate. The play centered around two strangers meeting under unfortunate circumstances. After many plot twists, they both find friendship through their culture and shared experiences.

Gimble A Cappella

Produced by Mark K Williams and Eli Faber

This past summer, my college a cappella group traveled to Washington D.C. to record an EP. We produced 5 songs, sung and arranged by members of Gimble. I was honored to solo on “Autumn Leaves” which was arranged by Eli Faber. Sung by my best friends, we are all immensely proud of the final product.

international Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA)

Gimble A Cappella

After not competing for over 6 years, my a cappella group decided to enter ICCA’s, a rigorous competition that calls for endurance in singing and dancing (think Pitch Perfect). I came aboard as a choreographer and performer, creating movement for our members with different levels of experience. After countless hours of late night rehearsals, corrections, and testing our stamina, we finished as 2nd Runner Ups!
